Mark Folladori Promoted to VP
of Transportation & Logistics
- Global Keg
Global Keg, the world’s largest stainless-steel keg rental company, has announced the promotion of Mark Folladori from Director of Global Transportation to Vice President of Transportation & Logistics. With 17 years of Supply Chain experience, Mark joined Global Keg in July of 2018 and quickly established himself as an experienced, knowledgeable, and reliable manager within a fast-growing, but global entrepreneurial enterprise. Not a complete unknown to founder and CEO Bob Moore, who said “Mark spent 10 years at CHEP, a now dominant provider of wooden pallets to numerous industries that I built into a multi-billion dollar company operating in 60+ countries around the world. It’s no surprise or accident that he quickly established himself as a leader at Global Keg who will ensure that we provide our customers with world-class service and logistics efficiency. Mark will leverage his expansive carrier network and knowledge to strengthen our industry-leading on-time performance for brewers and distributors alike.”
Mr. Folladori, in addition to his extensive supply chain experience, holds two MSBA degrees from Ohio State University (Transportation Logistics and Marketing) as well as an MBA from Temple University with a Finance concentration. He is also LEAN/Sigma Green Belt certified.
Global Keg, LLC based in Orlando, Florida rents stainless-steel beer kegs to brewers worldwide with the beer industry’s newest fleet of kegs that are each uniquely identified with an RFID chip that allows for tracking and tracing anywhere in the world with SmartKeg™ technology. Global Keg’s Smart Technology delivers maximum efficiency and guarantees more working capital, time and resources for all its customers. The company has expanded its own reverse logistics operations and now offers SmartReturn™ reverse logistics as a stand-alone service regardless of keg ownership, and is revolutionizing the draft beer supply chain for the better. Global Keg has also recently entered the pallet industry with international orange plastic pallets for easy identification and the same RFID SmartPallet™ asset tagging technology that leverages Mr. Moore’s vast asset-pooling experience.
